Frequently asked questions

Do I need a prescription, script or physician's referral?

Not initially. After 15 business days from when you start treatment, yes, in TX a referral will be necessary to continue treatment. Please contact me for additional questions as I will be happy to assist with receiving an appropriate referral.

Can I book an appointment online?

We recommend that you set up a phone conference first. During this call I will get to know you and see if we can help you prior to an evaluation. If during the call we feel as though physical therapy will benefit you, we will go over the details of your first visit, what to expect, and how we can help you.

What can I expect from my visit?

Every one of our patients is a unique individual with their own story. We address the whole body, not just the part that hurts or bothers you. We aim to understand exactly what is going on with the body, the root cause if you will. Most times the pain is not the cause of the underlying issue. Pain is the body’s request for change and to be “fixed”. You will be prescribed a treatment plan that will benefit your individual needs and goals and will help you return to your active life as soon as possible.

What should I wear?

For physical therapy it is important for the physical therapist to have access to visibly examine, palpate and treat your body, muscles, tissues, and joints. You should bring with you a pair of loose comfortable shorts or pants and female patients should bring a sleeveless shirt or tank top.

How long does it take to see results?

Physical Therapy is not a “quick fix” and you should expect to have to put in some work. However, many of our patients start to feel relief and changes within the first few visits. Our patients are typically seen once a week for about 5-8 weeks. We typically work with a patient from anywhere between 5-10 visits. Significant results are usually seen within 3-5 visits. It is impossible to tell you exactly how many sessions you will need until we see you in person. That is why we offer a FREE ASSESSMENT, so you can get an understanding of what is going on and how long it may take to fix your issue before you commit to being our patient.

The method of our treatment process consists of the first few visits getting you out of pain and discomfort. The next step is to fix the underlying issue. Finally, we work to create resilience and promote independence so that if you ever have a “flare up” again you will have the tools you need to help yourself.

How much does physical therapy cost?

Since it is hard to tell how many visits you may need without seeing you, after your physical therapist prescribes your plan of care, they will then discuss pricing and options.

What is your cancellation policy?

We understand life happens and plans change. If that happens simply just give us a call 24 hours in advance of your appointment and no cancellation fee will be applied. If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment and do not reschedule the charge will be the fee of your session and is non-refundable.

Why not take insurance?

Insurance reimbursement for Physical Therapy continues to shrink, forcing PTs to see more patients a day and spend less time with each. Recovery from injury requires time, support and attention that shouldn’t be sacrificed. Our out of network model preserves a premium quality of care for you, among many other benefits.

Longer treatment times: Don’t sacrifice the quality and attention you need for a full recovery.

You’re a person, not an injury: Our physical therapists with treat you as a whole instead of insurance dictating which body parts to treat.

Increased Accessibility: With a lower volume of patients, our physical therapists are accessible for questions and concerns with a 24 hour response time guaranteed.

Transparent pricing: No longer will you be surprised by an insurance bill weeks after treatment.

How far will you drive to see me?

I will travel about an 7-8 mile radius from my North Dallas location as featured on this map. Anything outside of this map will be case specific.
